The festive season is the best time to bring together friends and family and enjoy some great conversation over delicious food. If you're looking to add some new tasty favourites to your holiday menu, Bee (@beebalanced_) has you sorted with her baked brie featuring honey and pistachios and, for a sweet dish, her pistachio berry pavlova.

The baked brie is warm and gooey and the pistachio berry pavlova is a twist on a classic that will have everyone asking for the recipe.

And the best part? These dishes are quick and easy to whip up with just a couple of ingredients that you can get on your next shopping trip to Warriewood Square. If your avoiding nuts, both recipes are just as delicious without the pistachios.

Baked Brie with Honey and Pistachios

Ingredients

·       1 whole wheel of brie (200–250g)

·       2 tbsp honey

·       2 tbsp chopped pistachios (optional – works without)

·       1–3 sprigs fresh rosemary (or thyme)

·       Crackers, fresh bread, or crostini, to serve

 Method

1.       Preheat the oven to 180°C.

2.       Place brie on a small oven-safe dish or a lined baking tray.

3.       Cut criss-cross sections into the top of the brie to allow topping to melt into it.

4.       Drizzle with honey, scatter with pistachios, and tuck rosemary sprigs on top.

5.       Bake for 10 minutes, or until the brie is soft and gooey.

6.       Serve immediately with fresh bread or crackers.

2.        Spoon or pipe the whipped cream onto the pavlova base.

3.        Top with raspberries, strawberries, and scatter with chopped pistachios.

4.        Garnish with mint leaves and drizzle over some pistachio spread for a festive green touch.
