Security and Physical Distancing Officers

Security officers in high visibility vests are monitoring our centre to enforce physical distancing requirements as appropriate and are working together with local police.

Capacity Limits & Industry-Leading Heat-Mapping Technology

Maximum capacity limits are in place within the centre and within stores. Centre capacity and crowd density is actively monitored by heat mapping technology.

Increased Hand Sanitisation & Cleaning

Increased sanitisation and cleaning of all customer touch points and high traffic areas.

Hand Sanitiser At Entry Points

Please use the hand santiser located at each entrance and use hand sanitser when requested upon entering a store.

Physical Distancing Signage

Door, window, floor and freestanding signage are in place to assist with physical distancing measures. Please adhere to directions and guidance provided.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE 13/01/21 – POSITIVE COVID-19 CASE

Our team has been notified of positive cases of COVID-19 that visited certain retailers at Warriewood Square between 31 December - 8 January.

NSW Health has advised anyone who visited the following stores, on the below dates and during the listed times, is considered a casual contact and must get tested immediately, and self-isolate until a negative result is received:

• 31 December Coles between 2pm and 2:10pm

• 4 January Woolworths between 12:15pm and 12:45pm

• 5 January Coles between 12:45pm and 1pm

• 5 January Aldi between 12:10pm and 12:40pm

• 6 January The Groomsmen between 11:30am to 12pm

• 6 January Woolworths between midday and 12:15pm

• 6 January Rebel between 12:15pm and 12:30pm

Our priority continues to be the health, safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team members and broader community.

We have also increased our regular cleaning roster with additional focus on specific areas including; balustrades, retailer door handles, vertical transport, toilets, sinks, change tables and parents’ rooms, customer entry and touch points, information screens, as well as communal furniture. This will continue for the foreseeable future.

Your safety is our priority – you must now wear a face mask or covering

In line with Government direction, you must now wear a mask or face mask during your visit to our centre.

Help our community stop the spread of COVID-19 by keeping a healthy distance from each other.

And remember, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please do not enter the centre

*Face masks are now compulsory for everyone over the age of 12 when you’re out in public. Children under 12 are exempt but are encouraged to wear face masks where practical.

*This excludes people who cannot wear a mask for a medical reason. You may be asked to provide documentation to support this to our team, or to bring that documentation along with you next time you visit us.

IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE – TRADING UPDATE 21/12/20

The safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team members and the community is always our top priority. We remain open with a thorough COVID-Safety Plan in place utilising new technologies and we are continuing to follow health advice.

Following government direction, until midnight Wednesday 23 December, only select stores and services will be open for you to shop for the products and services you need.

Some of our cafes and coffee shops are open, serving takeaway while dining in is currently closed.

Unfortunately, we’ve had to cancel our Santa photography sessions. To arrange for a refund please contact Scene To Believe Customer Care on 02 9054 2636.

Some of our stores offer contactless click and collect and delivery services. For more information about contactless click and collect please contact the retailer directly.

Our stringent safety measures remain in place, to ensure our centre is safe for those who rely on the service our retailers provide. These measures include:

· Increased sanitisation and cleaning of all customer touch points and high traffic areas

· Hand sanitiser available in centre

· Physical and digital signage reminding customers to keep a safe distance apart

· Closure of playground and kids rides until further notice

When you visit please ensure that you:

  • Plan your shopping trip and use the closest entry to the store you are visiting
  • Keep a healthy distance from other customers and team members
  • Please wear a mask when in-centre based on NSW Government recommendations, unless an exemption applies.
  • Maintain good hygiene including washing your hands or using the hand sanitiser provided

COVID-19 UPDATE – 16 DECEMBER CUSTOMER VISIT

Our team has been notified that a customer, who visited Warriewood Square on Wednesday 16 December between 11am and 12:15pm has returned a positive test for COVID-19.

We do not have advice on the location(s) the customer visited and we are following advice from NSW Health.

A deep clean of the centre was undertaken as a precaution. We have also increased our cleaning roster since learning of the case, with additional focus on specific areas including; balustrades, retailer door handles, vertical transport, toilets, sinks, change tables and parents’ rooms, customer entry and touch points, information screens, as well as communal furniture throughout the centre. This will continue for the foreseeable future.

At this stage, the advice from authorities is anyone showing any COVID symptoms, however mild, should get tested immediately and self-isolate until you receive a negative result.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO KEEP THE CENTRE CLEAN AND HYGIENIC?

The safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team and the community is always our top priority, which is why we’re taking extra precautions to ensure our centres are clean and hygienic, including more thorough cleaning to high traffic and high touch areas.

We’re also asking everyone who visits us to practice healthy physical distancing and good hygiene.

WHAT SPECIFIC HYGIENE PRACTICES ARE IN PLACE?

In addition to our standard practices, we’ve introduced the following precautionary measures to ensure you can visit us with confidence:

  • Increased cleaning schedules of high traffic areas, high contact surface points, including amenities, play areas, parents’ rooms, handles and rails
  • The introduction of hand sanitisers in convenient locations including entrances and exits
  • We’re encouraging physical distancing (1.5 metres) so please keep a healthy distance from one another while you’re visiting our centre. Please follow window signage and floor decals around the centre including ones provided to retailers to assist with communicating distancing measures
  • We’re actively communicating and promoting the practice of good hygiene
  • We’ve deferred all centre events and activities for now

We are taking additional precautionary measures and continuing to monitor government advice and announcements.

  • Where available, use our traffic counters and/or digital heat mapping to identify busy zones to help us to actively manage these areas before reaching customer density thresholds
  • Automated alerts on occupancy, to actively monitor how many customers are in the centre at any time
  • Additional team members in-centre during peak periods, offering sanitiser and reminding customers of distancing guidelines
  • Automated, regular public announcements centre-wide, communicating distancing expectations
  • Security officers, in high visibility vests, are monitoring our centres, together with supporting local police to enforce social distancing requirements as appropriate
  • Zero tolerance on anti-social or disrespectful behaviour

These are preventative measures that each of us can take to help keep our community safe.

HOW ARE YOU ENCOURAGING CUSTOMERS TO PRACTICE HEALTHY PHYSICAL DISTANCING DURING THEIR VISIT?

We’ve introduced distancing measures based on government recommendations, to ensure the wellbeing of everyone who visits and works at our centre, and we’re asking everyone in our centres to practice good hygiene.

To help minimise close contact, we’re asking everyone to follow the floor navigations throughout our centre, maintain a 1.5 metre distance from others in the centre.

We will endeavour to update our store listings on this website with amended trading hours, and any store closures, in a timely manner so you can stay informed.

We understand continuing community concerns about the spread of Coronavirus and are conscious of the spread of rumours and misinformation which is not helpful during these times of uncertainty.
